Business Matchmaking Events Westin Galleria Houston, TX, May 23, 2012
Business Matchmaking provides opportunities for small businesses to secure selling contracts from government agencies and major corporations at key events. This event is targeted at small businesses with employees less than or equal to 250. Small businesses attend the business match making event to expand or team up with others to pursue contracts. Business matchmaking is an initiative started by a partnership between the SBA and HP. The events are free and provide a wonderful platform for networking in addition to private meetings with key buyers and counseling sessions with the representatives of SCORE, SBA and SBDC. A point worth mentioning here is that HP, Symantec and Dun & Bradstreet make available products and services to qualified small businesses, giving them the opportunity to sell to the most demanding federal agencies and other corporations.
The small businesses participating in this event will be personally processed to meet with key buyers from federal, state and local government agencies. Individual business counseling will also be provided by the representatives of SCORE and other resource partners.
The business matchmaking events are also held in Philadelphia, PA, San Diego, CA, Miami, FL, Nashville, TN, and New Orleans, LA. The registration dates will be announced shortly. Keeping checking the business matchmaking events site regularly.
It is a good idea for start-ups and established business owners to attend seminars and other business events that are held in their area. For more details, they should make it a point to visit their Chamber of Commerce at least once a month.
